Alley Connection Restaurant in Kalispell

I've been in the valley 20 years and this is one of the consistent top three restraunt picks.

I feel bad for the people of Kalispell if they think this is the best Chinese food around. I ordered the stir fried vegetables with tofu, it was quite bland and the tofu was mushy. The food also came out in under 5 minutes which was concerning. We stopped in because it was so close to the Grand Hotel, but there are several other places in the area to eat, go find them!

Im a picky eater but the lemon chicken was amazing, the staff is great

Was seated and asked for drinks got served. Then sat for 15 minutes while waitresses ignored us...Apparently takes 5 waitstaff to manage four tables!!! And one server to play in the fortune cookies!!🙄🙄 will only be back for lunch when servers are more worried about customers than playing with the fortune cookies!!!

All the food is excellent but my favorite is the pork egg foo young.

I love Chinese food. Alley Connection makes really good Chinese food and American-Chinese food!The portions are great. The prices are fair. The service is always friendly. I haven't had any bad experiences with the Alley Connection other than trying to order while hungry and spending too much, but that's my fault not theirs!

I dont think the combo rice was fully cooked.🤨 The sweet sour chicken and wonton soup were great tho!!

I ordered The Alley Connection from DoorDash and it got here under 15 mins after I ordered it. Which is fast, but a concerning fast. I was told it was gonna be about 30 minutes to get my food and it showed up in 12 including the drive time. Makes me wonder if the food is just sitting there then thrown in a box and ready to go. Their noodles are like instant noodles and the rice was way overcooked. Overall, I wouldnt recommend.

Best chinese I have found in flathead valley. I went there for lunch serving size was decent. Flavor was pretty good. Not the best Asian I have ever had but it's my favorite in the area.

What happened to this place? We just had the worst take out in our lives. Things have changed here. Our advice: go anywhere else.

After having a lot of burgers and hot dogs and pizzas in the GNP area, I was looking forward to a Chinese meal, especially after reading such great reviews! But meh! The food fell pretty flat. We could hardly finish half our meal and didn't even feel like taking the leftovers.

This place was recommended by family and it did not disappoint! It is so refreshing to have oriental cuisine that is unexpected and not fried in heavy oils! For 3 people ordering large meals and a huge appetizer plate and drinks it was less than $25 a person! We were able to share all of our food family style, which really heightened our experience. I will be coming to this restaurant every time I visit Kalispell, I can tell you that! It was absolutely amazing food! It was a very modern and healthy take! I highly recommend it!

This little gem is tucked away down a side street in downtown Kalispell and what a great find it is! Delicious American Chinese food that is loaded with flavor at an affordable price...give it a try!

Alley connection is a great little Chinese restaurant that sits in the middle of Kalispell they have pretty good food but the last time that I was there it seemed like this spices weren't as strong as they needed to be or something I think the best thing that this restaurant has is its location and atmosphere it's like a little luncheon style restaurant that sits in a unique location and provides a quaint little atmosphere

The two stars are for the service! The food I wouldn't even rate. Growing up this was the go-to place but now I wouldn't recommend it to any one. From the boiled meat to canned mushrooms and canned soup I will not go back

Very nice place, good employees, no complaints except they forgot the cashews in cashew shrimp.

Awesome food at a great price as always. Please clean the tables before patrons come. I mentioned to the hostess how dirty the table was, she simply said "ooops" and asked for our drink order.

Fasting would be a better option. The boiled meat on the Mongolian beef was dreadful. Our meals came out in about 3 minutes, not a good sign that it was custom cooked for us. The rice was mushy. Trying to think of something good... We have room for dessert, down the street. My camera made the dish look edible, don't be fooled.

Looking on a Saturday night, for a not so crowded place to eat. This is a favorite spot we have not been to for a bit though. We are so glad we stopped in. New York Streak was great! My daughter had her Sweet and Sour combo dinner. Very satisfied With service and food. It was a hit! High recommendations.

Really good and fast service. Best wonton soup EVER! It really could be the meal. Shrimp and vegetables in a light brown sauce were wonderful --just the right amount of crunch!

Been going here for years and it has never been disappointing

i have been coming to alley connection since i was little, and recently the quality has been going down. i’m not a huge fan of the new lunch wait staff, and this is the 2-3 time they have messed up my togo order. today i went in at about noon and placed my togo order of chicken chow mien without veggies and i get back home and low and behold it’s full of veggies. usually i would just disregard but i watched the server make the note on the ticket and there were maybe 5 tables in the whole restaurant. since i work in another local restaurant, i understand certain aspects however if the restaurant is slow- food shouldn’t be coming out wrong.

by far the cutest place ever! servers were super sweet and thoughtful, i asked what kind of tea they were serving and our server brought us another pot and gave me to go cups for it!!:) great prices and great food, would highly recommend for anyone who needs a quick, cheap, and delicious meal!!!

Food and service are great, haven't eaten here in ten years and everything is still just as good as it was then.

Wow. This place has really gone down hill fast. The lo mein I got was absolutely inedible. I took two bites and away it went. The fried rice reaked of vinegar which was off putting and the rice was mushy. I placed a call in order for pick up and they told me 20 to 30 mins. I get there at 30 mins and they have me wait another 12 more in the lobby with four other disgruntled customers who had been waiting for who knows how long. There were about 4 unbussed tables that sat there dirty as I waited. The girls up front had to have been 15 with no customer service what so ever. This used to be the best if the flathead. What happened? I am so disappointed. Just save your time and money and go somewhere else.

the service was good they kept my glass full. but the beef Curry that I had was mostly made up of onions bok choy celery and onions .did I mention onions?there was very little beef, maybe this pandemic thing as having an influence on that part of the curry dish.anyway the size of the portions were big and the prices were reasonable .I did enjoy the Ambiance and the style, felt like an old bar with the brass rails and the brickwork or an old Gentleman's Club at one time..
